Coming March 1!

A top-secret research institute in the Amazonian Rainforest where "dreams come true?" What kind of malarky is this? Gustav thought. Did this eccentric nutjob believe he would drop everything and hop on her private jet to South America because of some half-baked, pie-in-the-sky sales pitch? He was old, for god sake, not stupid! But then again … he was old. This may be his last chance to take back what Fate had stolen from him; what she had stolen from all of them. Common sense be damned! He would do it for all of them, but mostly, he would do it for Ruby.

5.0 out of 5 stars "Somewhere in Time" meets "The Diary of Anne Frank."
"Tangled Fates," a tale painted by artist Ali Mignonne, should appeal to lovers of Romance, History, War Stories, and Sci-Fi. The story takes place in four countries and most of the 20th century, covering the adventures of couples who have loved but lost, due to the nature of WWII, who pick up the shattered pieces of their lives in hopes of recovery. Follow the quests of Gustav Braun, Emerald Snow, Ruby Russell (& others!) as they seek to repair their lives destroyed by Herr Wolf, whose evil put in motion a family train wreck in slow motion. The author somehow relates the suffering people go through whose lives haven't been what was hoped for, whose circumstances didn't live up to what they expected. Ali Mignonne hasn't just written a book; she's written a multi-generational love story, a movie trilogy, or a television mini-series and will employ many actors for years to come. Two thumbs up!
5.0 out of 5 stars Great book, extremely imaginative
Great book, extremely imaginative. It encompasses a lot of genres, which I think is really neat. It's one of those books you read that starts to affect your daily life. It makes you very thankful for the people that are in your life and gives a desire to be more imaginative and creative. I've found myself thinking out of the box more since reading this book, so I highly recommend it.
