Golden Child

Original 3D painting. 
12 x 12" Acrylic and Resin on Canvas.
 
I started by sculpting an acorn, then created a mold to cast it in resin. Once cured, I mounted the resin acorn onto the canvas and poured tinted resin around it to bring the piece to life.
